This is an urban residential area offering easy access to the city centre and public transport, guests with cars will appreciate the fact that it is very easy to park in this area. it is walkable to the city centre, and there are also bus services from both the Castlereagh Road and Woodstock Roads. There is ample food shopping in the near area with a large Tesco Supermarket, two convenience stores and pharmacies, all within a ten minute walk. east Belfast is home to Titanic Belfast, HMS Caroline, Belfast City Airport, Stormont Parliament Buildings, the shipyard cranes and the popular village areas of Ballyhackamore & Belmont, both renowned for eateries and shopping.
Home from home apartment in urban east Belfast, not far from the city centre and offering a spacious, self contained self catering space, with separate sitting room, kitchen, bedroom & bathroom. There is also a small patio yard to the rear. Situated due east of the city centre, this is the perfect base to explore the city and to access road and rail transport to other attractions. Parking is free and plentiful off the main road which is a huge advantage over accommodation closer to the centre of Belfast where parking is not free or isn’t easily obtainable. The Albertbridge Road is a main thoroughfare, connecting the city centre with County Down. Frequent bus services are readily available, and Belfast’s Lanyon Place train station is around 20 mins walk away. A major retail park (Connswater), complete with Lidl Supermarket, Starbucks, Tim Hortons, KFC and McDonalds, is just ten mins walk away, and there is a licensed convenience store just across the road.

This historic coastal town of Carrickfergus is the perfect location from which to explore the east of Northern Ireland, being well connected by road and rail to the centre of Belfast, and by coast road to the famed Giants Causeway, and stunning Gobbins Coastal Path. Of course, we cannot forget what is right on the doorstep in Carrickfergus too!. The 12th century castle, and the 17th century town walls can both be seen from the front windows of our cottage home. The town is also home to the 12th century church of St Nicholas, Carrickfergus Museum, a beautiful marina, the Andrew Jackson Cottage and US Rangers Museum, the medieval tower house in of Dobbins, and a extensive seafront & promenade. There is no shortage of dining out experiences, the nearest being Ownies a popular pub restaurant, just a few steps away – and shopping is also well catered for with the nearest supermarket being Sainsburys, beside the castle, just a few minutes walk away.
